MRI Technologist

Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Wauwatosa, WI
Duration: 6 Months (Possibilities of Extension)
 
Shift: 10:00 AM – 06:00 PM, but may vary with hours of operation which is 06:30am – 10:00pm
 
Job Description:

• Performs MRI studies under the direction of a radiologist and oversight of a senior MRI Technologist.
• This individual interacts with imaging staff, nursing, physicians, patients, and visitors.
• Acts as a resource person for MRI technical, and other issues, and demonstrates competence according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols.
• Operates MRI and related equipment, prepares scan room - equipment, supplies, and medications.
• This individual also maintains images and archives associated with patient data.
• Other duties as assigned.

 
Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist required.

 
Education:

• Graduate of an JCERT approved two-year radiologic technology program is required.
• Successful completion of a cross-sectional anatomy class is required.

 
Certifications and Licenses:

• WI licensed Radiologic Technologist
• ARRT (MR)
• BLS (AHA) / CPR
