Job Description: Work Schedule Monday to Thursday 2:45pm to 1:30am
Second Shift (Afternoons)
Environmental Conditions
Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, etc... allowed, Cold Room/Freezers -22degrees, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, hair nets and beard nets etc.) Must be open to wearing a full body covering, with face mask less than 5% of their time.
Job Description
What will you do? Performs packaging line operations, including operating/monitoring equipment, inspection, hand cartoning or packing, labeling, palletizing, cleanup, hopper filling. Assists in line clearances between batches, changeovers, and follow cleanup sheet directions. Assists with troubleshooting of equipment and process issues. Maintains accurate, neat, error free records such as line packaging records (LPR)Accurately follows production documents, standard operating procedures (SOP's) and current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs)Monitors operations for deviations, quality risk, or mechanical problems and elevates issues as needed. Identifies safety, quality, and efficiency improvements and actively participates in learning organization development. Maintains a neat work area and follows department safety rules. Attends scheduled trainings as determined by supervisor and completes annual training. Performs duties in other work areas as required. How will you get here?
Education/Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent Manufacturing Operations or Packaging experience (GMP facility preferred)Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Experience in pharmaceutical production preferred Mechanical aptitude and ability to disassemble and reassemble various types of equipment .Basic reading comprehension and math skills necessary to follow complex technical instructions and complete LPR calculations .Good communication skills and ability to work both individually and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle a wide variety of work assignments Computer skills preferred Ability to lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift as needed to complete assignments Job requires wearing personal protective equipment.
