ENTRY Phlebotomist I
Job Title: Entry Phlebotomist I
Location: Lehigh Acres, FL
Duration: 6+ Months (with possibility of extension)
Shift Timings: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Rotational Saturdays required)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and customer-focused Entry Phlebotomist I / Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) to join our team in Lehigh Acres, FL. This is a front-of-house role that serves as the face of the company, welcoming patients and supporting their healthcare journey. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn phlebotomy skills and grow within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-ins via self-service kiosks or handheld tablets.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address patient questions with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming waiting area.
- Support other phlebotomists during breaks and downtime.
- Train in phlebotomy and, once proficient, perform specimen collection and processing following established procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Uphold confidentiality and ensure accuracy in handling patient information.
- Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, and the public.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required)

Experience:
- Minimum 1–2 years of client-facing customer service experience (Required)
(e.g., Retail, Home Health Aide, Hospitality) - Keyboard/data entry experience (Required)
- Prior phlebotomy experience NOT required
- Minimum 1–2 years of client-facing customer service experience (Required)
Additional Requirements:
- Must be willing to learn and perform phlebotomy duties.
- Candidates interested only in front desk/greeter roles should not apply.
- Reliable transportation to/from the worksite is mandatory (rideshare/bus not considered reliable).
- Must be punctual, available for full scheduled shifts, and maintain excellent attendance.
- Candidates should live within a 20–25 minute commute from the worksite.
