Maintenance Scheduler

Job Summary:

• Works within Manufacturing Excellence principles and SOPs, cGMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for detailed planning and scheduling of maintenance and turnaround tasks including corrective, preventive, and predictive work orders, emergency repairs, and operational tasks.
• Coordinates closely with Maintenance Technicians and Area Management.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Supports the Freeport site carotenoid production portfolio.
• Ensures reliable asset availability, compliance with quality and safety standards, and cost-effective maintenance execution in a highly automated production environment.
• Generate and maintain daily and weekly maintenance schedules.
• Plan PM, PPM, and corrective work orders including materials, labor, and contractors.
• Coordinate emergency repairs and reschedule work as needed.
• Maintain maintenance data, equipment records, and functional locations in SAP.
• Manage maintenance KPIs and backlog reporting.
• Ensure compliance with SHE, Quality, and Client Life Saving Rules.
• Coordinate materials, spare parts, and warehouse stock in SAP.
• Support small projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

Experience:

• 3-5 years’ experience in chemical/pharmaceutical manufacturing as a maintenance scheduler.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:  

• Proficiency in SAP maintenance module.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and maintenance planning systems.
• Strong communication skills.
• Broad knowledge of maintenance crafts and reliability principles.
• Knowledge of the applicable codes and technical requirements under OSHA PSM mechanical integrity program.
