Job Summary:
- Works within Manufacturing Excellence principles and SOPs, cGMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for detailed planning and scheduling of maintenance and turnaround tasks including corrective, preventive, and predictive work orders, emergency repairs, and operational tasks.
- Coordinates closely with Maintenance Technicians and Area Management.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Supports the Freeport site carotenoid production portfolio.
- Ensures reliable asset availability, compliance with quality and safety standards, and cost-effective maintenance execution in a highly automated production environment.
- Generate and maintain daily and weekly maintenance schedules.
- Plan PM, PPM, and corrective work orders including materials, labor, and contractors.
- Coordinate emergency repairs and reschedule work as needed.
- Maintain maintenance data, equipment records, and functional locations in SAP.
- Manage maintenance KPIs and backlog reporting.
- Ensure compliance with SHE, Quality, and Client Life Saving Rules.
- Coordinate materials, spare parts, and warehouse stock in SAP.
- Support small projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Experience:
-
3-5 years’ experience in chemical/pharmaceutical manufacturing as a maintenance scheduler.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in SAP maintenance module.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and maintenance planning systems.
- Strong communication skills.
- Broad knowledge of maintenance crafts and reliability principles.
- Knowledge of the applicable codes and technical requirements under OSHA PSM mechanical integrity program.
