IT Project Manager
Job Description:
Project manager will work with Client network telecommunication infrastructure leadership, project managers, and PMO/PCO. The Project manager will lead project schedules, coordinate resources, manage issues, budget/invoice handling, hold stakeholder coordination meetings and minutes and compliance with PMO/PC governance.
This position will also work collaboratively with vendor companies, support agreement negotiations and other telecommunications-related agreements.
Licensing agreements and oversee funding support for special telecommunications related projects that support Client business needs.
08 am to0 4 pm CST Monday thru Friday or as applicable tthe project teams
Job Duties
Roles reports tthe Project Control/Management Office. (PCO/PMO)
- Development and Management of project Delivery and Cost schedules for 1-10 projects
- Regular interval progress reporting Progress reporting
- Maintaining Project Financial budgets (accruals, forecasts, actuals)
- Negotiating schedules and resolving late delivery issues
- Creation of time cards (PWA)
- Job Site Safety Enforcement
- Coordinates project meetings review status/escalate issues for corrective action.
- Identification of Issues and Risks on projects escalate as appropriate
- Submission of PReqs and confirmation of delivery for invoicing purposes.
- Escalation of issues tPCO
- Change request
- Responsible for Internal Coordination of
- Change management (IT CAB) when needed
- Verification of Alignment
- Network infrastructure installation schedules and resources
- Site turn up of equipment and Acceptance testing.
- Coordination/Monitoring with 3rd Party Vendors (Reporting tPCstatus)
- Identification of Permitting needs using internal and external resources
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years in the following:
- Microsoft Project/PWA
- Budget, forecast, and accruals
- 3rd vendor management
- Contract bidding and negotiations
- Experience managing project financials actuals, invoice reconciliation, identifying variances
- Project Management Principles
- Network Infrastructure
Preferred Qualifications The ideal candidate must exhibit the following:
