Cardiac Cath Lab Technician

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Job Location: Las Vegas, NV 89106
Job Duration: 2-3 Months (possibility of extension)

Schedule:

• Days: Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (subject to department needs)
• Mandatory Call: 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM
• Night Call: 2–3 days per week
• Weekend Call: 1–2 weekends per month
• Potential Holiday Call (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Payrate: $80/ hr on w2

Certifications Required:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Prepare patients for pre-op and provide post-op recovery care, including monitoring vital signs and documenting patient status.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment and monitoring systems.
• Administer and monitor medications as directed during procedures.
• Ensure sterile techniques and infection control standards are maintained throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide safe, efficient, and quality patient care.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations such as cardiac arrest or complications during procedures
