Job Responsibilities:
- Executes warehouse processes related to inbound goods receipt with focus on highest level of quality and with patient safety in mind and in full compliance with obligations in Product of the operations (customs/import process, quality inspection, environmental control on products), updates the appropriate transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP tool.
- Executes warehouse processes related to storage (stock counts, stock verification, stock movements, stock corrections, value added operations on inventory) with focus on highest level of quality and with patient safety in mind and in full compliance with obligations in Product of the operations (bonded storage, special storage areas, environmental control on products, finance controls applicable for the entity), updates the inventory accordingly in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP tool.
- Executes warehouse processes related to outbound picking, packing/labeling and shipping with focus on highest level of quality and with patient safety in mind and in full compliance with obligations in Product of the operations (customs/export process, quality inspection, environmental control on products, specific requirements from customers), updates the appropriate transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP tool.
- Executes daily checks of interfaces between SAP, Transport Management System (TMID), and Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Works with maintenance technicians to perform scheduled calibration and preventive maintenance tasks on warehouse machinery and equipment, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Assists in the installation, configuration, and testing of new warehouse management software and automation systems, providing input on system setup and troubleshooting initial configuration issues.
- Troubleshoots equipment failures and perform minor repairs on conveyors, palletizers, and forklifts, following standardized procedures and promptly escalating complex issues to maintenance specialists. Documents equipment maintenance activities and inventory transactions in the warehouse management system (WMS), maintaining meticulous records for compliance audits and performance analysis.
- Supports inbound logistics operations by coordinating with carriers for efficient dock scheduling and conducting thorough inspections of incoming shipments for damages or discrepancies. Interacts with teams to optimize warehouse layout and workflow, leveraging data-driven insights to implement continuous improvement initiatives such as lean methodologies or automation upgrades.
- Aids in the implementation of quality control measures, conducting random spot-checks of outbound orders for accuracy and completeness, and documenting any non-conformities for corrective action. Assists in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse facility, including regular sweeping and organizing of storage racks, to uphold a visually appealing and efficient work environment.
