Duration: 6 weeks- Possibility of extending based on Performance
Work Hours: 1st Shift- 8am to 5pm
Pay range $40-$44/hr on w2
Education: Bachelor’s degree not required — practical experience valued- Open for HS/AS/BS any degree
Background: Experience in manufacturing, food production, quality, sanitation, or compliance environments
Profile: Quality coordinator / QA tech/Internal auditor / compliance specialist
Skills: Food safety or sanitation
Years of exp: 2-3 yrs
Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Sanitation Assistant Manager to support audit preparation activities in a food manufacturing plant. This role focuses on organizing existing programs, reviewing compliance aProductst standards, and working directly with operations and sanitation teams to close gaps.
Key Responsibilities
• Review sanitation programs aProductst company and regulatory standards
• Organize existing records and documentation for audit readiness
• Identify gaps and drive completion with sanitation supervisors and operations teams
• Structure validation and verification records (cleaning validation, equipment swabbing, run lengths)
• Verify contractor cleaning program compliance and documentation
• Update procedures and supporting documents as needed
• Track action items and follow through to completion on the plant floor
• Communicate status and escalate roadblocks
Qualifications
• Experience in manufacturing, food production, quality, sanitation, or compliance environments
• Comfortable working on the production floor and collaborating with hourly teams
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Able to work independently and drive tasks to completion
• Experience with audits, inspections, or regulatory programs preferred
• Bachelor’s degree not required — practical experience valued

• Quality coordinator / QA tech
• Internal auditor / compliance specialist
• Production supervisor with documentation experience
• Food safety or sanitation program support
• Manufacturing project coordinator
Duration
Approx. 6 weeks with potential extension based on project progress.
This role is best suited for someone structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced plant environment.
