Non Licensed -Benefit Educator
Job Title: Non-Licensed Benefit Educator
Location: Hartford, CT
Duration: 7 Months+ (Possibility of Extension)

On-call position with no guaranteed hours; work is available on an as-needed basis.

Candidates must live within a 120-mile radius of Hartford, CT, and be willing to commute as needed.

Reliable transportation is required.
Job Duties:
This role is ideal for individuals looking for flexible, on-call work. The primary responsibilities include attending client benefit fairs, answering high-level questions, and distributing promotional materials.
Responsibilities:

Attend an annual training provided by the client to gain a deeper understanding of the industry and your specific role at benefit fairs.

Participate in a one-hour training session with the account team at least 48 hours prior to the client’s benefit fair, covering client details, the plan, and key talking points.

Proactively greet and assist attendees at the booth, distributing flyers and promotional materials.
Skills/Requirements: -
Strong communication skills to interact professionally and knowledgeably about pharmacy benefits.

Confidence in speaking in front of small groups and demonstrating sales skills.

Ability to ask probing questions to identify the needs and expectations of attendees.

Previous experience in a client-facing role is Required.

Familiarity with benefits and insurance information is a plus.
Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.
