Job Title: Non-Licensed Benefit Educator

Location: Hartford, CT
Duration: 7 Months+ (Possibility of Extension)

Schedule Notes:

  • On-call position with no guaranteed hours; work is available on an as-needed basis.

  • Candidates must live within a 120-mile radius of Hartford, CT, and be willing to commute as needed.

  • Reliable transportation is required.




Job Duties:

This role is ideal for individuals looking for flexible, on-call work. The primary responsibilities include attending client benefit fairs, answering high-level questions, and distributing promotional materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend an annual training provided by the client to gain a deeper understanding of the industry and your specific role at benefit fairs.

  • Participate in a one-hour training session with the account team at least 48 hours prior to the client’s benefit fair, covering client details, the plan, and key talking points.

  • Proactively greet and assist attendees at the booth, distributing flyers and promotional materials.

    Skills/Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills to interact professionally and knowledgeably about pharmacy benefits.

  • Confidence in speaking in front of small groups and demonstrating sales skills.

  • Ability to ask probing questions to identify the needs and expectations of attendees.

  • Previous experience in a client-facing role is Required.

  • Familiarity with benefits and insurance information is a plus.




Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
