Catheterization Laboratory Technologist
SHIFT: 7AM - 5:30PM
START: 9/22/2025
REQUIRED:
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: ARRT and New Mexico State licensure required. BLS certification required. ACLS certification required. Certification issued by ARRT applicable to cardiac or vascular intervention (CV, CI or VI), or RCIS Certification.

POSITION TITLE: Cath Lab Tech/Certified
DEPARTMENT: Cath Lab
POSITION SUMMARY: Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures as requested by physicians. Provides care for patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a Radiologist/Cardiologist.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduation from accredited radiologic technology program.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: ARRT and New Mexico State licensure required. BLS certification required. ACLS certification required. Certification issued by ARRT applicable to cardiac or vascular intervention (CV, CI or VI), or RCIS Certification.
SKILLS:
- Thorough knowledge of associated radiographic equipment, neurological and cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, radiographic positioning, medical terminology and basic computer skills.
- Thorough knowledge of interventional procedures in Cardiology and Radiology preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
EXPERIENCE: One year radiologic experience required and one year interventional or cath lab experience preferred.

-Responsible to: Manager, Cath Lab
ENVIRONMENT:
- Bloodborne pathogen - C
Exposure to various body fluids and ionizing radiation.
Works in a clean, well-lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment. Subject to stressful professional relationships. Working hours are varied, with flexibility due to unexpected changes in schedule and emergencies.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patients and equipment in excess of 50 lbs.
