Job Title: Compensation Advisor
Location: Irwindale, CA. (91702)
Duration: 03 Months (+possible extensions)
Pay Range: $60 - 73.80 / hourly (W2)
Position Overview:
- Lead the design, implementation, and administration of enterprise compensation programs (salaries, incentives, job evaluations) while ensuring market competitiveness and alignment with business strategy.
- Serve as a strategic partner to HR and business leaders, providing data-driven compensation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation Strategy & Administration:
- Develop/maintain job profiles in SuccessFactors and automate compensation processes
- Conduct job evaluations, market pricing, and pay equity analyses using salary survey data
- Design/implement salary structures, annual review processes, and bonus programs
- Provide Client-specific compensation solutions aligned with corporate guidelines
- Analyze internal/external salary data to ensure competitive positioning
- Utilize SuccessFactors for compensation planning and annual review processes
- Develop advanced Excel models for compensation analysis and scenario planning
- Manage compensation projects end-to-end (Product, timeline, budget, deliverables)
- Create executive presentations and communicate compensation strategies
- Resolve cross-functional conflicts and establish project priorities
- Ensure protection of sensitive employee/customer data per security policies
- Incorporate ESG considerations into compensation programs

Qualifications Required:
- 7+ years in compensation administration. (salary structures, incentives, job evaluations)
- SuccessFactors expertise (or similar HCM system) for compensation planning.
- Advanced Excel skills. (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling)
- Proven ability to analyze data and present recommendations to leadership.
Preferred:
- 5+ years leading cross-functional projects
- Experience in executive compensation or sales incentive design.
- CCP, GRP, or CECP certification
