R&D Technician II

• Location - Onsite

• Possible extension (if need/budget allows)

• Interview will be onsite.

• Manager is interested in technician candidates only.

• Candidate will be working in the lab and will work alongside another technician who will provide training and collaborative support.

• The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.

• Candidate will be responsible some assembly and some testing for med. devices. Experience with mechanical assembly and testing. Experience with electronics testing.

• A successful candidate for this role will demonstrate a positive attitude and strong communication skills. They should proactively escalate any issues that arise to ensure timely resolution. The individual must also have strong attention to detail and a basic understanding of measuring equipment.

Works under limited supervision assisting R&D engineers, scientists, and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment.

1. Design and set up of pilot and production equipment.
2. Designing methods for using the equipment.
3. Measurement of the process variables.
4. Analysis of the processing variables.
5. Control of the processing variables.
6. Scale up of the system for expected capacities.

Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

• HS Diploma Required with at least 1 year of equivalent work experience in related discipline

• AA Degree with at least 1 year of equivalent work experience in related discipline
• Candidate has a light industrial or medical background.
