Job Title: Phlebotomist I
Location: Burleson, TX 76028
Duration: 3 Months+/ high chance of extension

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job description:

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• Have direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
• Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection. Phlebotomy experience - pediatric and geriatric capillary and venipuncture - required.
• Demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.
• Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Maintains required records and documentation.
• Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant field; 2+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required and phlebotomist certification.
• Commute: Candidates must have reliable transportation and be within a 20-25 minute commute to the worksite.
