Job Description:
Our Research and Development team is all about building the future of the operating room and office for urology patients and clinicians. As an R&D Electrical Engineer, you'll be at the heart of that mission, developing best-in-class capital systems and ureteroProducts Products as part of our comprehensive portfolio of solutions. All in an environment that encourages people to take measured risks, learn from mistakes, and push the boundaries of engineering.
Key responsibilities:
Support electrical hardware development, integration, and testing for capital systems and ureteroProducts Products.
Collaborating with cross-functional experts in a wide range of fields to solve complex engineering and business challenges.
Translating highly technical results into easily understood recommendations that will influence senior stakeholders.
Managing third party designers, supplier
Requirements:
Electrical or Computer Engineering degree. Bachelors required. Firm.
Must have 3-5 years of experience.
Proficiency with lab equipment including power supplies, oscilloProducts, multimeters, spectrum/signal/logic analyzers.
Solid background in Electrical Engineering concepts such as circuit theory and semiconductor physics.
Proven self-starter who runs towards critical issues, ambiguous requirements, or loosely defined challenges.
Skilled problem solver and hands on troubleshooter, experience with problem solving methodologies (i.e. Shainin, DOE, etc.) a plus.
Designs electrical systems and specifies electrical components.
Experience working in a regulated environment.
Experience with Standards and Compliance such as 60601 a plus.
Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
