Phlebotomist I
Title: Phlebotomist I
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Duration: 6 months
Shift:Two shifts available - 6 am - 2 pm w/rotating Saturdays 7 am - 12 pm
or
7 am - 3 pm w/rotating Saturdays 7am - 12 pm
Job Summary:
The PSR I is the front-line representative for patients, responsible for collecting blood specimens and preparing them for lab testing. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, attention to detail, and excellent patient interaction to ensure a safe, professional, and compassionate experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform blood draws and specimen collection following established procedures.

Ensure accurate patient identification, labeling, and documentation.

Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

Deliver outstanding customer service with sensitivity to confidentiality.

Work independently while adhering to schedules and deadlines.
Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required). Medical or paramedic training preferred.

Experience: At least 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; 1+ year preferred. Customer service and data entry experience strongly preferred.

Other: Must be reliable, punctual, and flexible to work weekends, holidays, and overtime. Must have consistent, personal transportation (rideshares/bus not accepted)
