Phlebotomist I
Job Title: Phlebotomist I
Location: Pinecrest, FL
Duration: 4 months +, temp-to-hire
Schedule:
-
Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
-
Rotational Saturday: 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM
Commute Requirement: Must live within a 20–25 minute commute to the job site
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the organization, providing excellent service to patients seeking routine or critical health testing. The PSR I is responsible for drawing quality blood specimens and preparing them for lab analysis while following established procedures and maintaining a high level of professionalism, safety, and patient confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily duties under the supervision of the area supervisor, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Create a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients

Collect and process forensic and clinical specimens according to established protocols
-
Maintain required documentation and records in compliance with company standards

Clearly explain procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and confidence throughout the process

Demonstrate leadership behaviors and commitment to quality, confidentiality, and organizational excellence

Promote a positive image to patients, clients, and the public
Job Requirements:
-
Proven ability to deliver error-free work in a fast-paced setting
-
Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision

Strong phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients

Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed

Must have reliable personal transportation (rideshare services are not acceptable)
Education & Certification:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Medical training (Medical Assistant or Paramedic) preferred
-
Phlebotomy certification preferred
Experience:
-
Minimum of 6 months relevant experience required
-
1+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred
-
Customer service experience in retail or service settings preferred
-
Keyboarding and data entry experience required
