Patient Access Representative I
Job Title: Patient Access Representative I
Location: Onsite – Morristown, NJ 07960
Duration: 3-month W2 contract with a high possibility of extension based on performance and business needs
Pay Rate: $19 – $24 per hour (W2)
Schedule Shifts:
Emergency Department (ED):
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST
3:00 PM – 11:00 PM EST
11:00 PM – 7:00 AM EST
Outpatient:
6:30 AM – 2:30 PM EST
Job Overview:
Client is seeking a Precertification Representative with strong communication skills to support hospital outpatient authorization verification. The ideal candidate will be experienced in navigating payer portals, researching insurance benefits, and providing excellent customer service in a healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify hospital outpatient visit authorizations using payer portals
- Accurately research and confirm patient insurance benefits
- Communicate effectively with physician offices and hospital departments
- Provide professional and timely customer service
- Utilize Microsoft 365 applications for daily tasks
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required
