Medical Technologist - Lab Technologist

Duties:
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, performs routine and complex analytic procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens, involving manual techniques or the use of laboratory instruments and information systems.

Education:
Required Education:
-Completion of accredited Bachelor s Degree program in medical technology, medical laboratory sciences, or clinical laboratory sciences.
-Bachelor s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or Biology may be considered if completed coursework aligns with the duties of the specific Medical Technologist position.
-Coursework completed outside of the US must be verified by a NACES approved credential evaluation service.

Required Certification & Licensure:

Preferred Certification & Licensure:
-Certification at the technologist level from a nationally recognized agency, such as ASCP, NCA, ASM, AABB, Client, or HEW is preferred.

This is the pay range that RightSourcing (a part of Magnit) reasonably expects to pay someone for this position, however, as a supplier your expected pay range may vary and/or include certain benefits like: Stipends (for clinical traveler workers only), Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K. Pay range: (USD)(USD)31 hrly - (USD)(USD)41 hrly.

Certification at the technologist level from a nationally recognized agency, such as ASCP, NCA

Required Skills & Experience:
-Requires six months experience in a medical laboratory setting.
-Demonstrated technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge sufficient to perform laboratory functions are required.

Schedule Notes: 13-week assignment Likely to extend, possibility of conversion to FTE Requirements: Min 3-5 years' experience (in hematology preferred) Previous hematology experience Tech certification Experience with fluid cell counts & differentials Completion of accredited Bachelor s Degree program in medical technology, medical laboratory sciences, or clinical laboratory sciences. Bachelor s degree in chemistry, Microbiology, or Biology may be considered if completed coursework aligns with the duties of the specific Medical Technologist position. Preferred - Hematology Spezialist Certification Training will be Mon - Friday starting at 6.30 am or 7 am for 6-8 weeks of the assignment and then we'll switch to midnight Candidates working on automation line
