Inventory Analyst
Specific Position RequirementsNOTES:

- Metatarsal boots required
- 1st shift- 6am to 2:30pm, Mon-Fri. 40 hours per week, OT offered occasionally as needed (0-5 hours per week)

POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Printing off inventory cycle counts
- Working with wage inventory counters
- Entering results into SAP
- Root cause analysis and closing counts
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- SAP is used 99% of the time, but must be proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
- Strongly prefer SAP experience, but it can be trained if no experience, must have experience working in other systems.
- Degree would be preferred (no preference in field), but HS diploma/equivalent with 1+ years of experience in inventory in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in inventory (in a manufacturing setting) and root cause corrective action analysis are required.
- Experience in the warehouse/manufacturing is relevant and would be beneficial (cycle counts, forklift, shipping/receiving, etc.), but the individual must have experience in more of an administrative/data entry role and must understand they will NOT be physically moving parts.
- This individual will be required to work on the floor about 50% of the time to provide verification on cycle counts coming in, but this percentage could be higher or lower based on the need for verification.
Implements inventory audits and other related inventory transactions to measure accuracy. Compiles inventory audit requirements with Client and other companies. Works out reports of inventory. Supervises/Work Directs salary and/or wage personnel (Cycle Counters lower level Inventory Analyst). Duties: Monitors and coordinates various manufacturing and/or materials processes to insure they are functional designed e.g. Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Process cycle counting process or disposition of excess material. Works to resolve inventory related questions and issues e.g. participating in factory teams to improve inventory turns and accuracy. Coordinates and analyzes daily monthly and/or annual inventory audits e.g. engine audits or audits to test the financial accuracy. Prepares and reviews various perpetual inventory reports. Provides work direction and/or coaching as necessary to less experienced personnel; ensures completion of administrative support to the Human Resources processes.
