JOB DESCRIPTION
As Client accelerates its HR transformation to maintain market leadership, The Timekeeping associate plays a critical role by supporting enterprise time and attendance processes, UKG/Kronos accrual management, and ensuring timely resolution of escalationsdriving accuracy, compliance, and confidence in payroll outcomes.
Job Summary
The Timekeeper Associate supports the accurate and timely processing of employee time and attendance data. This role handles day-to-day timekeeping transactions, resolves standard inquiries, and ensures compliance with established policies, pay rules, and deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Other ancillary duties may be assigned.
Process timekeeping transactions including time corrections, accrual updates, absences, and standard adjustments
Monitor time entries for accuracy and completeness prior to payroll deadlines
Resolve Tier 12 timekeeping inquiries via ServiceNow or designated intake channels
Provide clear, professional responses to employees and managers
Escalate complex or non-standard issues to Senior Associate or Supervisor
Follow SOPs and control checkpoints to ensure data accuracy
Identify basic data discrepancies and correct per guidelines
Maintain documentation and audit trails as required
Supervisory Responsibilities
Partner with payroll, HR operations, and managers as needed
Participate in training, job shadowing, and cross-training activities
Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
12 years of HR operations, payroll, or timekeeping experience preferred
Experience with timekeeping systems (UKG, Oracle, Kronos, etc.) a plus
Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
Strong attention to detail and time management
Customer-focused mindset with clear communication skills
Advanced knowledge or skills in one or more of the following required:
Understanding of HR operating models, shared services, and service delivery frameworks.
Familiarity with HR compliance, regulatory frameworks, and data privacy practices (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA
May require advanced skills in one or more of the following:
