Job Title: Medical Assistant & Practice Support Specialist
Location: South Charleston, WV
Duration: 3+ Months (Possibility of Extension and conversion based upon performance)
 
Shift: Mon: 8 am – 5 pm, Tue, Wed: 7:30 am – 5 pm, Thu: 8 am – 6 pm & Fri, Sat: 7 am – 3 pm
 
Job Responsibilities:
PSS (Patrice Support Specialist) is an MA w/ front office experience.

• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, check-ups and physician referrals
• Answer telephones and direct calls to appropriate staff
• Greet visitors, assess purpose of visit, and direct them to appropriate staff.
• Compile and record medical charts, reports, and correspondence.
• Ensure patient completes Privacy forms
• Check patients in and out
• Collect Co-pays

 
Required Skills:
Customer service and computer skills, some medical experience preferred

Experience Required (In Years): 2 – 3 Years

Additional :
 CPR or BLS certification is required.
