This position comes at a pivotal moment for ***Brand as we continue to expand our impact, elevate consumer experiences, and push the edges of creativity and sport culture.

Who Youll Work With: Kids + Core Footwear
  • As a Footwear Color Designer in ***Kids + Core , this individual partners with other design functionsincluding industrial, materials, and graphicsas well as cross-functional teams such as product management, product development, material development, operations, and merchandising. They lead color design for footwear projects from concept through final approval. They also engage with the broader design community and reports directly to the Director, Kids + Core Color + Material Design.

Who We Are Looking For:
  • ***Brand seeks a highly collaborative Footwear Color Designer 2 with proven experience, strong problem-solving skills, and creativity. This ideal candidate blends creativity, technical mastery, and instinct to elevate kids + core footwear through the power of color. This person understands how color sparks emotion, drives narrative, and influences culture. In this role, you will drive an emotional connection to footwear through the use of narrative and storytelling.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.

  • Ideally 5+ years of relevant design experience
  • Creative experience : consumer/segment/dimensions
  • Digital design acumen, design-based software a must: Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with presentation programs: Keynote, PowerPoint are a plus
  • Positive, collaborative approach. Receptive to feedback and diverse perspectives.
  • Ability to approach projects with passion and influence through teamwork and adaptable to change
  • Deliver on timelines and deadlines with attention to detail and clear communication

What Youll Work On:
  • Youll create narrative-driven seasonal color concepts that shape the future of ***Kids + Core for our FW business. Youll use research, consumer insight, and color craft to bring trend-relevant product stories to life across the line.
  • In this role, you will:
  • Collaborate with Material Design, Graphics, Product design, Product Management, Merchandising, and Development to build cohesive seasonal color direction
  • Create color palettes and flows that align with category strategy
  • Conduct indepth research across sport, fashion, art, and culture to inform color decisions
  • Review samples, troubleshoot color execution challenges, and drive accuracy from concept to manufacturing
  • Support cross-functional designers with color expertise outside your assigned load when needed
  • Lead yourself and teammates confidently through change, iteration, and ambiguity
