Job Title: Phlebotomist II
Location: Lone Tree, CO 80124
Duration: 1 Month+ (Possible Extension)

Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay Range: $25/hr. on W2
 
Job Summary:
The Phlebotomist II / PSR II is the primary patient-facing representative, responsible for drawing high-quality blood specimens, preparing samples for lab testing, and providing a positive, professional experience for patients. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, strong phlebotomy skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform venipuncture and specimen collection with skill and accuracy, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
  • Verify patient demographics, ensure proper labeling, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Maintain a safe and professional environment, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviors, process excellence, and patient confidentiality.
  • Work at multiple locations as needed, including doctor’s offices, patient service centers, and other assigned sites.
  • Communicate openly and transparently with patients, peers, and supervisors.
  • Perform general administrative tasks related to specimen processing and patient services.
 
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Certifications: Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).
  • Experience:
    • 1–3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
    • 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
    • Customer service experience in retail or service environments preferred.
    • Keyboard/data entry experience.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent phlebotomy technique
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
    • Flexible with travel, multiple locations, and variable schedules (including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime)
    • Superior customer focus and communication skills
 
Additional Details:
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record if applicable.
  • Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.
