Phlebotomist III - Floater
Location: Wauwatosa, WI
Shift/Time Zone: Hours vary from 4:30Am until 7:00Pm
Duration: 3 Months
Note: Additional Job Details: Must have 3+ Years of experience. Position requires covering Wisconsin Area, including Greenbay.
Job Description: The PSR III is the frontline representative of the company, interacting directly with patients in various locations (doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other business needs). The main responsibilities involve:

Drawing blood samples (phlebotomy) and preparing specimens for lab testing.

Ensuring patient comfort, trust, and confidence during procedures.

Maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Following safety, quality, and confidentiality standards.
-
Demonstrating leadership, process excellence, and professionalism.
This role requires flexibility to work at multiple sites and cover for staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities

Collect blood specimens safely, accurately, and efficiently, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Verify patient information and ensure proper labeling of specimens.

Maintain proper records and documentation.

Promote a positive image to patients, clients, and coworkers.

Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.

Follow company policies, safety procedures, and dress code.

Communicate effectively and transparently with patients and colleagues.

Adapt to multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
Requirements
Education & Training
-
High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
-
Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).
Experience
-
3+ years phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections).

Minimum 2 years in a patient service center preferred.

Customer service experience preferred.

Keyboard/data entry experience.
Skills & Abilities

Excellent phlebotomy skills.

Strong customer focus and communication.
-
Ability to work independently and make good judgments.

Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.
Other Requirements
-
Able to travel and work at multiple locations with minimal notice.
-
Work hours vary: 4:30 AM – 7:00 PM, covering the Wisconsin area including Green Bay.
