Job Title: Business Project Advisor
Job Location: Remote role
Job Duration: 6-7 Months (possibility of extension)
Payrate: $ 50.36/hr on W2
Notes:
8am-5pm CST
Prefer candidates in CST time zone. Will consider from EST who are willing to work in CST time zone.
Manager Requires:
• Must have 8-10 years relevant project management experience with at least 5 years supporting a legal and/or compliance department.
• Healthcare industry preferred.
• Must be able to Oversee all projects for the whole legal and/or compliance department.
• Must be able to interact with legal operations team, Technology team.
• Must be able to Take notes, track project completion.
• Experience in PowerPoint, Excel and VISIO required
• Must be able to escalate items that are required to keep the project moving forward.
• Must actively manage projects and drive towards completion
• Must be able to propose solutions if unable to meet milestones
• Must be able to drive projects forward .
• Must be able to create professional presentations and document project maps using
Interview: One or 2 rounds of interview with 2 managers
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Master’s degree preferred
Project management professional certification strongly preferred
Job Summary:
- This role will help drive the mission of the Legal Operations & Shared Services team – which is to provide centralized support to Client’s Legal & Corporate Affairs department. Our goal is to drive efficiency and create value through improved technology, best in class processes and to strengthen governance both internally and with external vendors.
- This role will manage a small team of legal project managers and will collaborate with key stakeholders to intake, aggregate, prioritize, schedule, and execute strategic legal initiatives and process improvement projects.
- The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of benchmarking, business process analysis, change management, metrics development and measurement and have experience compiling and delivering executive-level status reports.
- A demonstrated ability to lead project management teams supporting a legal and/or compliance function is required.
- The qualified project management professional must be able to able to manage large, complex cross-functional initiatives that span across the entire Legal & Corporate Affairs department, and provide support for enterprise wide programs or initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Legal Project Management Office (LPMO) as it provides support for cross functional projects and improvement initiatives.
- Identify and implement best practices that will drive overall efficiency for the Legal & Corporate Affairs Department.
- Partner with key leaders within the Legal Operations & Shared Services team as well as leaders within Client’s entire Legal & Corporate Affairs department to ensure process improvements align with overall enterprise strategy & goals.
- Define the metrics and KPIs to measure success of each project and the overall LPMO program.
- Lead change management efforts associated with implementing new processes
- Collaborate with matrix partners such as Client’s technology team, Information Protection Team, Finance and others.
- Develop and maintain project artifacts, documentation, and playbooks.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Project management professional certification strongly preferred.
Skills:
- A successful candidate will be able to work with their constituents to identify reasonable goals, establish a project plan, identify the need for additional stakeholders or resources and identify any barriers to completion.
- Project management professional certification strongly preferred.
- 8-10 years relevant project management experience with at least 5 years supporting a legal and/or compliance department.
- Must have strong organizational skills.
- Proven track record of leading enterprise scale, complex projects successfully.
- Demonstrated attention to detail & the ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to create professional presentations and document project maps using PowerPoint, Excel and VISIO required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
