The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company, providing direct patient care and support during routine health visits and critical, life-defining health decisions. The PSR I is responsible for collecting and preparing blood and other specimens for laboratory testing while following established procedures. This role requires professionalism, accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to build trust and confidence with patients through clear communication and skilled specimen collection.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care & Specimen Collection:
- Draw quality blood samples from patients in a safe, accurate, and skillful manner.
- Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing.
- Explain procedures clearly to patients to ensure comfort and confidence.
- Demonstrate excellent phlebotomy skills with pediatric and geriatric patients.
Operations & Compliance:
- Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
- Follow established practices, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Maintain required records, documentation, and specimen integrity.
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
Professional Conduct:
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment.
- Demonstrate leadership behaviors and process excellence.
- Promote a positive company image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to deliver error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in keyboard and data entry.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Medical training preferred (Medical Assistant or Paramedic).
- Phlebotomy certification preferred.
- Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 6 months relevant experience required.
