Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Location: Wilmington, MA
Job Duration: 6+ months (Possibilities of Extension)

Pay Range: $25 - $34/Hour. on W2
 
Job Description Summary:

• Perform routine daily and preventative maintenance and assist in construction and refurbishment of physical plant.
• Training duration depends on the individual's skill level, with an estimated one month for HVAC-specific training.
• The roles are temporary, expected to last at least six months, with the potential for permanent hiring based on performance
• The job may require travel to different locations such as Cambridge and Boston, typically as a team rather than individually.
• Flexibility, integrity, and HVAC skills are crucial for the roles.

 
Responsibilities:
• Perform a wide variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks to assist in the daily repair, preventative maintenance and construction of physical plant and expansion projects, including basic carpentry, masonry, electrical, heating/air-conditioning, plumbing, painting, mechanical and floor/wall coating installation.
• Perform scheduled inspections/repairs on all facilities systems.
• Perform supply, delivery, distribution and acquisition tasks as directed.
• May perform waste vacuum maintenance.
• Participate in snow removal and ice remediation activities such as shoveling and spreading de-icing agents on walkways and parking lots, where site weather conditions necessitate.
• Assist in moving office contents within site, including furniture, files, etc. as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance repairs and services.
• Respond to emergencies as needed. Provide 24-hour on-call maintenance coverage, as scheduled in rotation.
• Take proper safety precautions and utilize appropriate safety gear/equipment in the performance of all duties.
• May provide guidance to less experienced/skilled utility workers.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.
