Job Title: Patient Services Case Administrator
Job Location: San Diego, CA
Job Duration: 2 month extension with possibility of extension
Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay rate: $24.00/ hr on w2


Job Summary:
  • We are looking to repurpose this role to focus more on administrative responsibilities rather than a patient services representative.
  • Specifically, we are seeking a candidate with extensive experience in insurance verification and a strong background in healthcare.
  • The ideal candidate should have expertise in order entry, verifying patient names and demographics, and a thorough understanding of PHI and HIPAA compliance to ensure the highest standards of confidentiality and accuracy.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Inbound/Outbound Calls:
  • Assist with handling inbound and outbound phone calls to address patient inquiries and provide information about services.
2. Task Completion:
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately, ensuring all duties are performed to high standards.
3. Case Load Creation:
  • Assist in creating and managing caseloads, ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient cases.
4. Documentation:
  • Ensure patient documentation is correct, complete, and up to date, maintaining high standards of accuracy.
5. Insurance Verification:
  • Verify and interpret insurance benefits and upload correct patient estimates to ensure accurate billing.
6. Financial Assistance Processing:
  • Obtain all required documents for processing applications and is familiar with associated policies.
7. Administrative Support:
  • Perform basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining patient records.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Ensures effective communication and teamwork across different teams to achieve common goals and drive organizational success.
9. Emotional Intelligence:
  • Act in a professional manner and be self-aware of their tone and energy, ensuring interactions are respectful, empathetic, and conducive to a positive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Skillset Matrix Manager Notes
  • Technology Requirements (I.E Programs, systems, etc): Exposure to Salesforce, Microsoft, and scanning preferred but not required.
