Shift: Day Shift – 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM CST
Position Summary:
The Assembler I–V is responsible for performing a range of mechanical and electrical assembly operations to build equipment in accordance with engineering drawings, safety standards, and quality requirements. This role progresses through five levels (I to V), with each level requiring increasing skill, independence, and leadership. Advancement is guided by the Assembly Job Ladder and Training Matrix, including hands-on training and task certifications.
This position offers variety, complexity, and the opportunity to work on a wide range of products—not a typical repetitive assembly line environment. It’s ideal for individuals who enjoy technical challenges, working independently, and developing their skills over time.

Key Responsibilities:
- Use hand and power tools and operate test equipment in line with safety protocols.
- Lift up to 50 pounds and operate cranes and forklifts (certification required).
- Follow work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures accurately.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and layout documentation.
- Identify and report defects; participate in or escalate corrective actions.
- Maintain clean, organized, and efficient workstations.
Advanced Responsibilities:
- Perform all tasks from Assembler I through IV with expert-level skill.
- Lead complex, high-priority equipment builds and ensure high assembly quality.
- Mentor and train junior team members; validate training and skills certifications.
- Identify and drive process improvements across the department.
- Support new product introductions and integration into production workflows.
- Demonstrate advanced use of the Kinetic ERP system for administrative tasks.
- Exhibit leadership, initiative, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in mechanical and/or electrical assembly with experience leading complex builds and mentoring team members.
- Proven ability to perform a wide range of assembly tasks with high precision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., Kinetic).
- Ability to bend, reach, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Normal color vision for wire identification.
