JOB DESCRIPTION
Schedule: This role requires onsite presence from 6:30am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday
Job Summary
Coordinates all onsite activities at client location in relation to the consolidation, movement, transportation and disposal of solid waste and recycling activities and other related services to meet customer's expectations for complete sustainability program. Supervises and plans activities of onsite personnel. Serves as liaison between client and vendors in relation to service issues. Maintains pre-established standards for safety and environmental issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. (Other minor duties may be assigned)
Coordinate all planning for transportation efforts with the disposal of all solid waste and recycling activities from customer sites to support all sustainability standards.
Provide physical labor support for the movement, consolidation, and disposition of all materials throughout the facility with the use of multiple types of equipment (forklift, etc.). Ensure compliance with client and government regulations and reporting. Resolve all issues promptly.
Aid with client and vendor financial obligations including invoicing, reporting and contracts.
Promote culture of safety by ensuring site personnel are trained to perform assigned duties and follow safety, environmental, federal, state, and local regulations.
Supervisory Responsibilities
The highest level of supervisory skills needed in this job is the management of supervisory employees. This includes Direct supervision of approximately 0 to 10 full-time operations level employees.
Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
Education and Experience
Education: Associate's Degree (accredited) in Environmental Sciences, Accounting, Business, or related field, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and two (2) years of relevant work experience.
Experience: One (1) year of relevant work experience (in addition to the education requirement).
Preferred Experience: Prior experience managing waste.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
Manifesting and profiling waste experience preferred.
Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
