Phlebotomist II

The PSR II is the face of the company for patients, responsible for collecting quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and providing exceptional service during critical health visits. The role requires professionalism, accuracy, and empathy in both clinical and customer service tasks. Assignments may vary by business needs, including doctors’ offices or patient service centers.

• Accurately perform daily duties as directed by area supervisor.

• Create a safe, clean, and professional environment for patients and staff.

• Conduct forensic and clinical specimen collection with confidence and precision.

• Verify patient demographics, signatures, and label accuracy post-venipuncture.

• Maintain all required documentation and records per company standards.

• Promote organizational values and a positive image to all stakeholders.

• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and process excellence.

• Superior phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in a high-volume setting.

• Flexible and responsive to staffing needs (weekends, holidays, on-call, overtime).

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.

• High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)..

• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience.

• Willingness to travel to multiple locations with minimal notice, as needed.

• Training location may vary based on trainer availability.
