Customer Solutions Representative

Job Title: Payment Operations Specialist

Location: Irwindale, CA 91702 (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: $24.22/hr
Job Summary:
This role supports electronic payment processing and issue resolution for various digital and banking channels. The candidate will work closely with internal systems and external vendors to ensure proper reconciliation and resolution of payment exceptions and customer inquiries.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload:

Resolve payment exceptions across multiple channels: EFT, EDI, Quick Check, Credit/Debit, Client.com, etc.

Address payment inquiries directly from customers and system-generated alerts

Use internal tools and databases to research payment destinations

Collaborate with banks and vendors to return misapplied or unidentified payments

Perform daily reconciliation between SAP IS-U and General Ledger based on bank deposit data

Issue refund drafts for lost, stolen, or uncashed customer payments

Coordinate with internal fraud teams to process suspicious/fraudulent payment documents
Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
- 3+ years in customer service roles, particularly resolving inquiries
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to urgent or unexpected issues
- Good logic application and pattern recognition based on past occurrences
- Experience with SAP systems
- Knowledge of payment processing systems or banking operations
