Duration: 3 + Months (Possibilities of Extension)
Shift: Night Shift | 12-hour shifts
Pay Rate:
o Local Pay rate: $68/hr on W2
o Trave Pay rate: $2,650/Weekly Blended
Job Description:
The Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic tests, managing ventilators, administering oxygen therapy, and collaborating with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory care for patients.
• Administer oxygen, aerosol medications, and other respiratory therapies.
• Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases (ABGs), pulmonary function tests, and chest physiotherapy.
• Respond to emergency situations, including code blue and rapid response calls.
• Educate patients and families on proper use of respiratory equipment and therapies.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and compliance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

Job Requirements:
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT)
- Current state license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
