Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Hackensack, NJ 07601
Duration: 3+ months (Possible extensions or FT Conversions)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts; Weekends and Holidays as needed
Weekly Gross: $3446/week (Local/ Travel contracts available)
Other location: Plainfield, NJ
Schedule: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (M-Tu-Th + 2 Wed/month)

Job Summary:
Provides immobilization devices as required and selects and operates Nuclear Medicine equipment as directed. Responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures while ensuring compliance with state, federal, and NRC regulations. Supports patient care, radiation safety, documentation, and departmental operations within Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT services.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology required
Licensure & Certifications:
Required:
- Valid NJDEP license
- ARRT or NMTCB registry
- BLS (American Heart Association)
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a busy hospital setting as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Experience with PACS system for image evaluation
- Experience preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals
- Knowledge of radiation protection and safety standards
- Experience maintaining records of radioisotope receipt, use, storage, and disposal
- Ability to calibrate equipment and assay radionuclides
- Familiarity with NRC, State, and JCAHO guidelines
- Experience using EPIC, Teletracking System, Nuclear Medicine Information System, and patient scheduling systems
- Ability to rotate assignments including Cardiology and PET/CT
- Ability to work scheduled shifts including weekends and holidays
- On-call availability per Radiology policy
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years of experience preferred
- CT fusion license preferred
