Shift:7:30AM-4:30PM Monday-Fridays with rotating Saturdays.
Duration: 4 months

Job Description:

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is responsible for drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for lab testing. This role involves direct patient interaction, explaining procedures, and ensuring a safe and professional environment. The PSR I follows established practices, maintains confidentiality, and demonstrates leadership behaviors while focusing on accuracy and process excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform specimen collection and processing with confidence and accuracy.

• Maintain records and documentation.

• Foster a positive, trusting atmosphere with patients, clients, and staff.

• Adhere to safety and professional standards.

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric care.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).

• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

• Phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, WA).

Experience:

• Minimum 6 months of experience in phlebotomy (1+ year preferred).

• Customer service experience preferred.

• Keyboard/data entry skills required.

Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday, with rotating Saturdays.
