High Level Project Overview:

Working with Client Facilities Project Managers, develops virtual designs for pre-construction, renovation, office space size, and furniture layout. Analyzes space utilization options, and determines optimal carrying capacity at facilities. Seeks out and resolves issues, through close interaction and collaboration with other project team members and contractors. Develops and maintains an as builts database of designs for all company facilities. Develops and coordinates designs, including electrical and mechanical facility layouts. Collaborates with design professionals to develop timelines. Co-creates models. Performs quality assurance and quality control checks on drawings. Develops photorealistic renderings and walk-throughs from building models. Utilizes CAD systems. Develops written specifications, alternatives, and cost estimates for new construction, renovation, or reconfiguration projects. Ensures project plans comply with codes, regulations, and company standards. Creates to support construction coordination, including structural, interior and exterior architectural elements, and MEP systems. Distributes new and revised models showing changes, and RFP or RFP answers. Evaluates construction installations relative to models. Models constructability issues and solutions for self-performed work.



Preferred Years of Experience:

5+ of direct hands-on experience as a planning and design specialist



Education:

Bachelors Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, etc.

Minimum of Highschool Diploma
