Job Duration: 3+ Months
Shift: M-F 08:00 AM to 4:30 PM with rotational Saturdays.
Pay Range: $30 - $35/hr. on W2
Overview:
The Patient Services Representative (PSR) is the frontline representative of the company, engaging directly with patients for routine testing and significant health screenings. This role involves performing phlebotomy procedures, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and ensuring a professional, safe, and compassionate environment.

Overview:
The Patient Services Representative (PSR) is the frontline representative of the company, engaging directly with patients for routine testing and significant health screenings. This role involves performing phlebotomy procedures, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and ensuring a professional, safe, and compassionate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection (clinical and forensic) accurately and safely, including for pediatric and geriatric patients.
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established protocols and safety standards.
- Verify patient identity and ensure all specimens are labeled correctly in the presence of the patient.
- Explain procedures clearly to patients, creating a trusting and confident experience.
- Maintain required records and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ensure a clean, professional, and safe environment at all times.
- Demonstrate leadership behaviors, commitment to quality, and uphold confidentiality standards.
- Perform daily operational tasks on time and accurately under supervisor direction.
- Represent the organization positively to patients, clients, and the public.
- Flexibly cover multiple sites including doctor’s offices and patient service centers as needed, sometimes with short notice.
Job Requirements:
- 2–3 years of phlebotomy experience (clinical and forensic).
- Proven ability to provide error-free, high-quality work in fast-paced environments.
- Must be independent, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric venipuncture.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as needed.
- Must comply with all company policies, including dress code, health & safety standards, and attendance.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks in high-volume settings and work under pressure.
- Willingness to train at multiple locations as needed depending on trainer availability.
- Must be punctual, stay for the entire scheduled shift, and maintain excellent attendance.
