Phlebotomist I
Job Location: Florence KY
Job Duration: 3 Months
Shift: Tue-Fri 8am - 7pm
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company to patients, assisting with routine health visits and life-defining health decisions. The PSR I draws quality blood samples, prepares specimens for lab testing, and follows established procedures while maintaining patient trust and confidence. This role emphasizes leadership behaviors, process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy in patient information.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.

Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment.

Confidently perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing according to established procedures.

Maintain required records and documentation.

Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and ensuring skillful, safe, and accurate blood draws.
Job Requirements:

Provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.

Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients.

Flexible and available based on staffing needs (weekends, holidays, on-call, overtime).
Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.

Medical training preferred (Medical Assistant or Paramedic).

Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in CA, NV, WA).
Work Experience:
-
Minimum 6 months experience REQUIRED.
