Phlebotomist II
Duration: 3months
Location: Anderson SC
Shift: 8am - 6:30pm M-Thur
Job Summary:
The PSR II represents the face of the company to patients—providing exceptional service during routine health visits and life-impacting diagnostic procedures. This role involves drawing quality blood samples, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation, and preparing specimens for lab testing. PSR IIs build patient trust through clear communication, professionalism, and adherence to safety and confidentiality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform specimen collection (venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric) confidently and accurately.

Verify and document patient information, including confirming patient initials and signatures post-collection.

Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment.
-
Follow established protocols for specimen processing and documentation.
-
Represent the organization positively to patients, coworkers, and the public.

Demonstrate leadership behaviors, process excellence, and attention to confidentiality.

Handle multiple priorities in high-volume settings.
Work Environment:
-
May be assigned to a doctor’s office, patient service center, or as per business needs.

Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call shifts.

Coverage may be required at multiple locations with minimal notice.
Job Requirements:
General:

Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Work independently with minimal supervision.

Maintain compliance with company policies, dress code, health and safety, and guiding principles.

Must have reliable personal transportation (rideshare/public transport is not acceptable).

Be punctual and available for full shift coverage.

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
Experience:
-
3 years of phlebotomy experience REQUIRED,
