Job Summary:
The North America Strategy Lead partners with executive leadership to develop and execute the long-term strategy for Client Direct in North America. This role identifies and evaluates critical strategic priorities and drives action plans through business planning processes. The position serves as a key thought partner to senior executives, leading cross-functional teams and spearheading transformational projects across Client’s diverse businesses and geographies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Strategic Planning Process: Author strategic plans and collaborate with senior/executive leaders to address complex business challenges.
- Build Integrated Growth Plans: Develop and drive long-term growth strategies to win with athletes and achieve profitable growth. Perform rigorous strategic analysis and present insights to Client Direct leadership.
- Develop Future Strategies: Create frameworks and analyses to explore Client’s largest growth opportunities. Define workstreams and lead projects as the overall quarterback.
- Assess Impact: Diagnose performance results against strategic plans, prioritize future actions, and assist senior leaders in communicating strategies across the organization. Develop KPIs to measure success.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, experience, or training.
- 5+ years in corporate strategy, management consulting, or investment banking.
- Experience in apparel/footwear, retail, merchandising, or consumer-facing industries, with strong understanding of the competitive retail marketplace.
- Proven success leading complex strategic projects using a methodical problem-solving process: analyzing problems, gathering information, generating options, and implementing solutions.
- Track record of cross-functional leadership with diverse teams.
- Strong business communication skills including verbal/written storytelling to promote understanding and mobilize change.
- Proficient in presentation tools such as Keynote.
- Bias toward action and comfort working in ambiguous, complex environments.
- Superior interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Curious mindset with a growth orientation.
