Job title:- Manager, Clinical Contracts & Finance
Location:- Foster, CA/ Parsippany, NJ  Hybrid 3 days a week onsite and 2 days remote
Duration:- 12 Months
Pay rate:- $75/hr. - $80/hr. on W2

 
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to support operations within the Vendor Relationship Management (VRM) group. This role is integral to the management of drug development vendors and requires a strong foundation in project management, outsourcing, and vendor management. Experience in clinical trial delivery or the drug development lifecycle is strongly desired.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Management Operations:

• Lead day-to-day operational activities related to vendor relationship management.
• Collaborate with functional stakeholders to monitor vendor performance and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Apply critical thinking and strategic vision to enhance the VRM program.
• Contribute to the development of materials for both internal and external stakeholders.

Project & Meeting Coordination:

• Support the planning and execution of meetings, including scheduling, developing agendas, collecting content, note-taking, and distributing minutes.
• Assist in the creation of presentations and other documentation related to VRM operations.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of projects by ensuring timelines and deadlines are met.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work effectively across departments including operations, finance, quality, systems, and process teams.
• Establish and maintain productive relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
• Demonstrate the ability to influence and deliver results across dynamic cross-functional groups.

Communication & Documentation:

• Maintain excellent verbal and written communication.
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and confidentiality in all documentation and communications.

Technical Skills:

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint to support documentation and reporting.
• Analyze data and processes with a strong technical and analytical mindset.

 
Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in vendor management within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of vendor relationship management processes and partnering with vendors.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver complex projects.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.

 
Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in clinical trial delivery or within the drug development lifecycle.
• Prior experience supporting initiative or project management functions.
• Exposure to outsourcing strategies and vendor performance monitoring.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
