Location:Franklin, TN
Duration: 4 months
Shift:Day shift / CST - 22 hours a week Monday - Thursday 8 AM - 2 PM.

Job Description:

The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) plays a key role in patient interaction, drawing blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and explaining procedures to ensure a safe and trusting experience. PSR II will demonstrate leadership, uphold confidentiality, and focus on accuracy. This role may be in a doctor's office, patient service center, or other locations as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate, timely daily activities under supervisor direction.

• Maintain a safe and professional environment.

• Collect and process forensic and clinical specimens following procedures.

• Verify patient info and label samples correctly.

• Maintain records and documentation.

• Promote a positive image to patients and the public.

Requirements:

• Strong ability to produce error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

• Flexible, available for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

• Adhere to company policies, dress code, and safety procedures.

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

• Able to handle multiple priorities in high-volume settings.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, and WA.

• 3+ years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

• 2+ years in a patient service center preferred.

• Customer service experience preferred.

• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Additional Info:

• Must have reliable transportation within a 20-25 minute commute to the job site.

• Excessive absenteeism or tardiness may lead to termination.
