Job Title: Surgical Tech 2
Location: Milwaukee, WI, 53226
Duration: 08/04/2025 – 11/06/2025
Shift: 3rd Shift
Schedule: 4 Days/Week, 40 Hours/Week – 10-Hour Shifts, Nights (PM/NOC), Weekends and On-Call Required
Float Position: No
Job Summary:
-
As a member of the healthcare team, collaborates with the surgical team to provide care for patients, ensuring patient goals and the hospital mission are met.

Performs procedures in a variety of specialties requiring knowledge and skills.

Demonstrates a higher level of collaboration with peers in making decisions related to surgical patient care.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
High School/GED and one of the following – Required:
-
Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program
-
Completion of a Military Training Program as an Operating Room Specialist
-
Completion of a Froedtert Health sponsored Apprentice II Program
-
Ten or more years of experience as a Surgical Tech
Licensure & Certifications:
-
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or AHA approved equivalent – Required
Required Skills & Experience:
-
Minimum of 2 years of full-time equivalent experience as a Surgical Technologist – Required
