Job Title: Marketing Operations Specialist
Location: Maple Grove, MN 55311 — Hybrid (Arbor Lakes, MG | 2–3 days onsite)
Duration: 12 Months W2 Contract (Potential temp-to-hire based on performance and budget)


Pay Range: $30 – $39/hour (W2)
 
Job Description / Purpose:
The Marketing Operations Specialist is responsible for managing Marketing Operations business processes, systems, and infrastructure to ensure maximum compliance, performance, and efficiency. This role supports the Marketing Operations function and contributes to its mission of continuous improvement across the organization.
 
Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the Marketing Operations function by managing APPROVE submissions and assisting during peak workload periods.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in the APPROVE system.
  • Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to submit relevant materials through the APPROVE system.
  • Review and refine processes across IO&E, establishing improved standards for efficiency and compliance.
  • Educate teams on effective and efficient compliance related to the LAR process.
  • Project-manage various cross-functional workflows to ensure compliance and timely execution.
  • Build high-level expertise in the Engage HCP System and related compliance requirements.
  • Develop foundational knowledge of HCP contracting processes across the Interventional Oncology & Embolization (IO&E) business.
  • Support execution of Marketing Operations workstreams across IO&E to ensure continuity and process improvements.
  • Serve as a liaison with internal stakeholders, communicating project expectations clearly and promptly.
 
Qualifications:
  • Developing professional with working knowledge of business and technical concepts, procedures, and practices.
  • General understanding of medical device industry standards and practices.
  • Broad comprehension of business unit/group functions.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment when interpreting company policies and procedures to resolve issues.
 
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
 
Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry.
  • Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience deploying content in a highly regulated environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset paired with a collaborative working style.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, programs, and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, timelines, and budgets.
  • Motivation to learn, grow, and develop within the medical device industry.
 
Quality Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining strict compliance with the Quality Policy and all documented quality processes and procedures.
