Pay Rate: $70/hr. on W2

Position Description: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist
The CT Technologist, reporting to the Medical Director, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist, performs specialized diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center. Utilizing CT scanning technology, the technologist produces high-quality images to assist in patient diagnosis and care, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities include trauma, emergency, inpatient, outpatient, research, and specialized CT-guided procedures. The technologist also enforces radiation safety standards per New York State Department of Health code part 16, while supporting ongoing education and adapting to evolving technology.
 
Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved two-year Radiologic Technology program plus high school diploma (high school +1).
• Licensure & Certification:
  • New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice in New York.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.
• Experience: Entry-level; minimal or no prior experience acceptable. MIT level assigned based on skill set and experience.
