Job Title: CT Technologist – Radiology
Location: Albany, NY 12208
Duration: 2+ Months (Possible Extension)
Pay Range: $65– $70/hr. on W2
Travel/Per Diem: Packages available based on eligibility
Hours:
- Schedule: Monday – Thursday
- Shift: 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Total Shifts: 4 per week
- On-Call: No on-call responsibilities required
Position Summary:
The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist operates under the supervision of the Medical Director, Section Head, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist. This role includes performing CT imaging procedures and assisting in patient care at a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center.
CT Technologists will provide imaging for the following patient types:
- Trauma & emergency cases
- Inpatients, including ICU
- Outpatients
- Research patients
- CT-guided procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma + 1 year post-secondary education
- New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography OR Limited Permit to practice in NY
- ARRT (CT) – Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Required)
- Current BLS for Healthcare Provider / CPR / CPR-AED for the Professional Rescuer (Required)
- Entry-level technologists may be considered based on demonstrated skill set and assigned MIT level
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Strong understanding of CT protocols, anatomy, and trauma/emergency care procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of radiation safety practices.
- Ability to deliver safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care in a high-acuity setting.
- Team-oriented mindset to support interdisciplinary workflows and optimize patient throughput.
