Phlebotomist II
Job Location: Alpharetta GA
Duration: 3 months
Shift: M-F 7:30 am -4:30 pm
Role Overview:
The PSR II is the face of the company for patients visiting for routine health checks or significant health decisions. The role involves skillfully drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing while maintaining safety, accuracy, and patient trust. The PSR II fosters a professional, confidential, and efficient environment, demonstrating leadership and process excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily activities accurately and timely under area supervisor’s direction.

Maintain a safe and professional environment at all times.

Confidently perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing according to established procedures.

Verify patient demographic information; confirm patient signatures post-venipuncture to ensure correct tube labeling.

Maintain required records and documentation accurately.

Promote a positive image and demonstrate organizational commitment to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Communicate openly and transparently with patients and team members.

Superior phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Availability & Flexibility:

Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Willingness to travel between multiple locations on short notice.

Able to work M-F, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (typical schedule).
Other Requirements:

Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if applicable).

Commitment to company policies including dress code, health & safety, and everyday excellence principles.

Be punctual and present for the entire shift; absenteeism and tardiness are grounds for termination.
Education & Certification:

High school diploma or equivalent — Required
Experience:
-
Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections) — Required
