Phlebotomist I
Job Title: Phlebotomist I
Job Location: Richfield, MN
Job Duration: 4 Months (possibility of extension)
Shift: Mon - Fri, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
Payrate: $24/ hr. on w2
Position Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company, interacting directly with patients as part of their healthcare routine or during important life-defining health decisions. This role is responsible for collecting quality blood specimens and preparing them for laboratory testing while adhering to established procedures and safety standards.
The PSR I creates an atmosphere of trust and professionalism by explaining procedures clearly and performing specimen collection in a safe, accurate, and confident manner. The position emphasizes leadership behaviors, process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily activities accurately and within required timeframes under the direction of the area supervisor.

Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.

Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing according to established procedures.

Ensure accurate record keeping and documentation.

Promote a positive image of the organization to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Demonstrate strong organizational commitment and professionalism.

Protect patient confidentiality at all times.
Job Requirements:
-
Ability to produce quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric experience.

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as needed.

Strong keyboard and data entry skills.
Education Requirements:
-
High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
-
Medical training (Medical Assistant or Paramedic) preferred.

Phlebotomy certification preferred
(Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Experience Requirements:
-
Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience (Required).
-
One or more years of phlebotomy experience (Preferred).
-
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment (Preferred).

Data entry experience (Required).

9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
