Duration: 3+ Months (Possibility of extension)
Shift: Mon, Thurs–Sat | 8:30AM–7PM (40 hrs/week)
Travel Pay: $ 2,400.80/Weekly Gross ($1,256.80/week stipend)
Job Description:
The PCLS Social Worker provides clinical social work services to patients under Psychiatric Consultation Liaison Services (PCLS), primarily those on legal holds (5150/5585, 5250, TCON, PCON). Responsible for conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments, monitoring legal hold status, supporting conservatorship processes, and coordinating safe psychiatric discharge planning. Works collaboratively with Psychiatrists, Nursing, and Case Management to ensure continuity of care and appropriate community placement.

Duties:
- Manage PCLS consults & patients on legal holds (5150/5250/TCON/PCON)
- Complete EPIC assessments (including SDOH)
- Monitor legal hold status & conservatorship timelines
- Coordinate psychiatric discharge planning & community placements
Requirements:
- Master’s in social work (license not required)
- ACSW/APCC/AMFT Intern # or LCSW/LMFT/LPCC
- 2+ years clinical experience
- Mental health crisis intervention experience
- Knowledge of Legal holds
